Getting started

6 min read

ListingSmith is a set of connected tools that share one project: the Listing Builder writes your title, bullets, description, and backend search terms, and the A+ Content Builder designs the enhanced content section below them. The tools feed each other when you use them together, but none of them requires another. The AI drafts, you approve.

This page walks the whole loop once so you know where things live. Each tool also has its own deeper guide when you need the details.

Have these ready

  • Product photos. A handful of clear shots of your actual product. These become the source material for every generated image.
  • Keywords, only if you already have them. You don’t need a research tool subscription: keyword research is built in, with search data provided by Soldscope. Give it a few competitor ASINs and it pulls the real search terms shoppers used to find them. Already have a Helium 10 or Jungle Scout CSV? Bring it, it imports cleanly. Both work, and you can mix them.
  • Something that shows your brand (optional). A website URL, your Amazon storefront link, or even a single product page is enough to build a brand kit from.

Tip: Photo quality matters more than most people expect. Five minutes with the reference photo guide will save you a lot of regenerating later.

Create a project

  1. 1
Click New project on your dashboard

Name it after the product. You can rename it anytime, so don’t overthink this.

  2. 2
    Pick a brand

Choose an existing brand kit, create one from your website, storefront, or product page, or continue without one. A kit keeps the AI’s voice and visuals consistent across everything it makes. More in the brand kit guide.

  3. 3
    Land on the tool hub

Every project opens to a hub showing its tools and how far along each one is. You can jump between tools from the pills in the top bar at any time.

Pick your starting point

The tools share a project, but they don’t require each other. Where you start depends on what you already have:

  • Launching a new product? The Listing Builder is the natural first stop: keywords in, approved copy out. Do it first and the A+ tools can pull from that copy, so the whole page tells one story.
  • Listing already live on Amazon? Skip straight to A+ Content. Import your product details from the live listing in one click, or type them in, and start designing. Plenty of sellers never touch the Listing Builder at all.

The Listing Builder, briefly

Six steps: product info, keywords, title, bullets, description, backend search terms. At each one the AI drafts, you edit or ask for a revision in plain English, and nothing advances until you approve it. Every generate button shows its credit cost before you click. The full walkthrough, including the built-in keyword research, is in the Listing Builder guide.

A+ Content, two ways

A+ Content comes in two modes. Modular assembles your page from Amazon’s real module system, with the AI filling every text field and image slot. Seamless has the AI design the whole page as one continuous visual. Both modes live side by side on your project and switching never deletes work. The modular guide and seamless guide cover when to use which.

Export and upload

When a tool is done, its exports collect in the project’s export hub: formatted DOCX documents plus an image ZIP, ready for Seller Central or a client handoff. The publishing guide shows exactly where each piece goes on Amazon’s side.
